2022 and 2023 Brides - Is your dress sorted yet?

Most bridal retailers, like ourselves, take orders for dresses to be made once a bride-to-be has  tried a sample. These dresses then normally take between 6 and 9 months, dependent on the individual designer, to be made.

BBC reporting wedding dress manufacturing delays

Recently there's been rumblings around the bridal dress sector, even being reported by BBC News about these production times possibly growing to eight months from order. Were you aware of these possible delays?

The good news is that none of our designers have made us aware of any similar delays, but you should consider the possibility. However, none of our designers are currently taking rush/express orders.

Our own research with our customers highlights that few are aware that wedding dresses normally take 6 to 9 months to make, once ordered.

It is possible to purchase an off the peg gown from us, but this will be limited to what we have in your size/colour/length choices. If you are a 2023 or early 2024 bride we recommend you think about looking as soon as you can.

If you big-day is before mdi-summer next year then all is not lost, we can offer you a selection of dresses for immediate purchase...
